- Yep.. exact same thing happened to me.. If the DTR is not up when I turn
- the modem on, then it won't work, unless i raise the DTR and cycle the
- modem's power.. (external sportster 33.6k).. really annoying..

- : : When DTR switch in default(normal DTR operation),
- : : my sportster sometimes can't work properly.
- : : Is this a BUG or just my fault with some settings?
-
- : No one out there has the same problem???
-
- : many new sportster 33.6k owners here in taiwan have the same problem:
- : the modem doesnt sense DTR correctly on power-on, so that the modem
- : initialization will not be ok. To overcome this problem, one can
- : exit the cmmunication software and re-run it or turn-off the power switch
- : of the modem and then trun it on. After correctly initialing the modem,
- : everything is just fine.
-
- : If you are a sportster 33.6 owner(external), please tell us whether you
- : have the same problem or not. THANX!
